The Raymond Schools Foundation is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of students across all grade levels. By providing essential resources and supporting a wide range of student programs, the Foundation plays a key role in ensuring that every student has access to opportunities that inspire growth, creativity, and lifelong learning.

While we are in the process of updating our information for the 2024-2025 school year, here’s a look back at some of the impactful projects and initiatives supported by the Foundation in recent years:

  • Teacher gift cards for classroom supplies, enabling educators to better meet the needs of their students and create engaging learning environments.

  • Investments in Raymond Elementary and Junior-Senior High School libraries, ensuring students have access to books and resources that enhance their education.

  • Support for principals at Raymond Elementary and Junior-Senior High to address student needs, from academic supplies to extracurricular activities.

  • Physical education programs at Raymond Elementary, including fitness pedometers and a charging station, promoting health and wellness.

  • Collaboration with the Salmon in Schools Project, in partnership with Forks Creek Fish Hatchery and the Marine Resource Committee, to introduce students to hands-on environmental science experiences.

  • Junior High woodworking classes, where students were provided with lumber to build picnic tables, fostering practical skills and teamwork.

  • Sponsorship of the Math Team, enabling them to participate in both the Washington State Math Council Regional and State Competitions.

  • Enriching field trips for various grade levels, such as:

    • 4th and 5th Grades Big Deal Field Trip

    • 3rd Grade visits to the Burke Museum and Mt. St. Helens

    • 6th Grade Harborena Field Trip, bringing learning beyond the classroom.
